Sorak didn't want to renew the domain, so we had it transferred to me about 2 months ago. Sorak (a.k.a. Alcides) and Ayna (a.k.a. Penence) are Genus Order, that has not changed. They have put a lot of time into the guild and are looking to take a step back and have some fun of their own. Sorak and I had talked about changing the purpose of the guild a few times after leaving EQ and I think this is probably a very good time to move forward with those changes.
Instead of Genus Order being a single game guild, it will now be a multi-gaming guild for friends, family, and people of similar interests. Most of the games will most likely be online games, but we are not limiting the guild to only those types of games, nor are we limiting to any specific platform. We will be creating guilds within these games (where possible) when we have enough members in a specific game to support a guild. Until there are enough members to support a guild with the Genus Order name, members should join other in game guilds to further their progression.
Don't forget to create yourself an account as only registered users are able to view the majority of the site. If you were a previous member of Genus Order or would like non-guild member access (allows posting to forums), send me a private message stating who you are after you have created and logged into your account. All previous members of Genus Order are welcome to join as guild members. I am in the process of setting up the new forums, blogs, calendars, etc., in my spare time between work and playing WoW. If there is anything that you would like to see on the site, just leave a post in the Wish List forum and I'll see what I can do.
